Roles and Responsibilities of Dean Skill Plus

• To provide platform for students & faculty to enrich their Professional skills under various diversified schemes and programs.


• To identify and implement CSIR initiatives, digital skilling programs: build relations, endorse ISA, DPA and MOUs, make occupational curriculum mapping, plan, organize and implement for the development of institution.


• To collaborate with various partnering agencies (Government & Private) like TASK, ICT academy, IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorials etc.:


• Attending meetings, coordinating activities.


• Functional development in educational trending skills.


• To nominate faculty for faculty development programs for better understanding of curriculum standards and requirements.


• To provide competency-based training and Certifications for the Students.


• To train Students for Industry ready.


• To supervise and evaluate the performance report for the students who registered for the various MOOCS courses under CBCS through NPTEL Swayam and count towards course credits.


• Interacting and coordinating with various department HoDs and skill coordinators about activities. Also monitoring the below ongoing activities for the faculty and students:
